I have a peculiar fondness for castaways ... especially when they're castaway on an alien planet!

Quite simply, the best haunted house story ever written. I'd love to read one that proved the assertion wrong but I doubt I ever will.
This has a fantastic sense of place ... a place I would very much like to never to visit!
I've not read a PKD novel that I didn't love ... but this one is perhaps the one I love the most.
A marvellous examination of the human condition ... via an alien visitor!
Ladies and gentlemen, may I introduce you to an item of pure SF magic?
This takes the prize for the most crazed, drug-fuelled roller-coaster ride I've ever had the pleasure of reading!
Earth has become a giant vegetable garden ... and this is the tale of the humans who survive amid the roots.
One of the very best horror novels ever written. Better than the movie!
If you have any childhood memories of being awestruck by the woods, then this novel will take that memory and use it to prod at your innermost psyche.
The sad truth, you'll probably only find this in a used edition and it'll probably cost a lot of money. Worth it? Hell yes! This might be my favourite SF novel of all time!
Taking his cue from Peter Benchley's JAWS, James Herbert established the wonderful sub-genre of "nature fights back." In this case ... Aargh! Rats!
